Fear of Losing Control - Panic Attack Symptoms
Panic Attack Symptoms / Fear of Losing Control
Fear of losing control is the single most noted symptom of panic attack sufferers. The fear can either be of losing your mind or bodily function or both simultaneously. Sufferers in general feel as though they may “lose it” or “go crazy”. These sensations can be very disturbing and leave one feeling terrified and anxiety ridden.
Rest assured although highly unpleasant, it is only a sensation and you will not “lose it”. During a panic attack, you feel as though you have lost control of your body and assume your mind is next. It is all fear driven thinking and totally impossible.
Most sufferers who tend to have this symptom are those who fear how they will appear in public. In reality, the only people who tend to notice a person having a panic attack are other panic attack sufferers and thus can sympathize with you.
